Foreshore bolsters service delivery

International internet communications company Foreshore has purchased IT service management software Sostenuto by Sunrise Software to enhance its service delivery operations.
The company, which is based in Jersey, Channel Islands, provides offshore hosting and other internet solutions to some of the best known international banks and some of the largest European internet retailers. With IP and hosting services backed with 100% Service Level Agreements, quality and reliability are top priorities for Foreshore when it comes to managing its customers' services and operations.
As the Service Delivery Manager for Foreshore, Davey Sandiford is responsible for ensuring that all of the company's services are delivered to the highest standard, in line with industry best practices, and in the spirit of continuous improvement for the business.
"Sostenuto will be a core system within Foreshore," said Sandiford. "It will enable us to align our processes with the best practice framework that has been built in to the application."
The team will be using Sostenuto as a service desk application. Two key priorities for the system will be the provision of reliable and timely management information reporting as well as ensuring that all changes are controlled and auditable.
"We chose Sostenuto because it is an extremely customisable product," explained Sandiford, "It allows the modification of almost everything in the system. This means that we can make the system fit our business rather than having to change to suit the product."
