Sunrise Customer User Groups (website content)

The Sunrise Software User Groups are designed to give you the opportunity to network with fellow users of Sostenuto, look into the future with Sunrise and discuss ideas and best practices with the Sunrise team, as well as your peers. 

The next Sunrise Customer User Group will take place at The Celtic Manor, Newport on the 12th June 2012.

This half day event will focus on giving you the opportunity to put your questions to the Sunrise team including our Service Desk Manager, Product Marketing Manager and our Sostenuto Solutions Manager.  In addition we will be giving you the chance to attend one of four breakout sessions and hear about future developments at Sunrise.  Additionally the Neath Port Talbot Borough Council IT team will be sharing their experiences of using Sostenuto.

Breakout Sessions

During the morning there will be 4 breakout sessions available. When you register for the event, please ensure to advise us as to which session you would like to attend.  Please note that a seat at the breakout sessions is available on a first come, first served basis so we advise selecting a second choice as well.

Session One

Title: ITIL Maturity – Incident to Problem
Host: Darren Laws
Synopsis: 
This session will focus on the culture and habits a Service Desk must adopt in order to embrace problem management as an effective ‘foil’ to Incident management.

Session Two

Title: How do you run your Service Desk?
Host: Charlie Pusey, Sunrise Service Desk Manager
Synopsis:  This session will be a chance for the Service Desk managers to discuss best practice for managing a Service Desk and get the most from your Sostenuto in the Service Desk environment.

Session Three

Title: How to solve a problem like…?
Host: Neil Penny, Product Marketing Manager
Synopsis:  A chance for users to learn from each other about how to work around common problems experienced amongst the group

Session Four

Title: Social Media and the Service Desk
Host: Martin Julyan, Sostenuto Solutions Manager
Synopsis:  Hot topic of the moment, Social Media.  Chance to discuss and look at how Social Media can be used to improve the performance of the Service Desk
